We had a good day at the Fair in Perry today!

Beautiful summer days that stretch out sleepily like a drowsy old cat.

Tay and I were out early this morning to pick blueberries. We have some netted, the deer and birds cheerfully gorge on the "free" bushes.
So with our dinner we have a lovely pie

Good days!

Good news makes good days. My DH's checkup was very good . For so long it has been like we were holding our breaths, never sure what would hit next or how high the mountain would be. It's a lonely feeling even when surrounded by the love of family and friends.
But now the old sycamore is leafing and our summer haven under those sheltering limbs is back. Soon it will be fully leafed and our favorite summer refuge.

Well those pictures were huge so let's see if this is better

Spring again!

It comes every year and is more a gift each time. The old yellow rose bush tries to outshine the Sun and the trees have all put on their clothes!
Even the peach trees are holding up their promises to the sunshine.
